Policies

The photo you upload. This is the core of the product. You choose it; we do not scan your camera roll or import anything you did not select.

Account information. Depending on how you sign in:

• Google or Apple sign-in — your email address, and your display name if the provider supplies one.
• Phone sign-in — your phone number.

Whichever you start with, an account is only complete once it holds both an email address and a phone number verified by one-time password. The verified number is what stops one person opening account after account, so we cannot make songs without it.

Your songs. The lyrics, audio, cover art, title, and the description of the photo our vision model produced.

Usage and billing records. Song credits, purchases, and a log of each generation (timing, which stage ran, estimated provider cost). Purchase receipts are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card.

Diagnostics. If a request fails we record the error. Crash reports are configured to exclude request bodies and personal fields.

What we never collect: your contacts, your location, your camera roll beyond the photo you pick, advertising identifiers, or any tracking across other apps and websites.

Your photo leaves our servers only to the processors below, and only to produce your song. None of them is permitted to use your photo to train their models under the business terms we use.

This means your data is transferred outside India. We rely on contractual protections with each processor. If you are not comfortable with this, please do not upload a photo.

Before your photo reaches the model that writes your song, it is checked automatically against a content-safety classifier. If it fails, the job stops, you are not charged, and no song is produced. We do this to comply with our providers' terms and to keep unlawful material off the public share pages.

Every song you make is private by default.

A song becomes reachable by anyone holding its link only when you tap Share. That link shows your cover image, the song, and part of the lyrics. It is unlisted — not indexed deliberately — but anyone you send it to can forward it. You can make a song private again, or delete it, at any time from the app.

• Songs, photos, covers, audio — until you delete them, or until you delete your account.
• Account record — until you delete your account.
• Credit and purchase ledger — retained after account deletion where we must, to meet tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. These records do not contain your photo, your songs, or your name.
• Cost telemetry — retained; contains no personal data, only which pipeline stages ran and their estimated cost.
• Deleted sign-in identifiers — when you delete your account we record the opaque provider id for a short window so a sign-in token issued moments earlier cannot silently recreate the account. It expires automatically and holds no name, email or phone number.

In the app: account icon → Delete account → confirm. It is immediate and permanent.

This erases your profile, every song and its audio, your uploaded photos, cover art, share pages, remaining credits, and your sign-in identity. Anything already downloaded or shared by you or others cannot be recalled.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — manage that in the App Store or Play Store.

You may ask us to access, correct, or erase your information, and to withdraw consent. Most of this is instant and self-service in the app. For anything else, email support@mukhdaa.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Withdrawing consent to photo processing means we can no longer make songs for you.

Mukhdaa is not for children. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we delete it. Indian law treats every person under 18 as a child requiring verifiable guardian consent, which is why we set the bar here rather than lower.

Sign-in is handled by Firebase; we never see or store a password. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is restricted to service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the authorities of a breach affecting you as the law requires.

For privacy complaints, contact our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 72 hours and resolve them within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

If we change this policy materially we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

You upload a photo. We use AI to look at it, write lyrics, compose music, and produce a song with a cover image. Every part of the output is machine-generated.

You must be 18 or older to use Mukhdaa.

You keep ownership of your photo. You give us permission to process it only to make your song and to run the safety check described in the Privacy Policy.

By uploading, you confirm that:

• The photo is yours, or you have permission from whoever owns it.
• Everyone recognisable in it has agreed to it being used this way. This matters most for photos of other people — do not upload someone without asking them.
• It does not contain sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, graphic violence, hate symbols, or anything unlawful.
• It does not infringe anyone's rights.

We run an automated safety check and may refuse or remove a photo. We may suspend an account that repeatedly breaks these rules.

You may: keep it, play it, download it, post it on social media, send it to friends and family, and use it in personal videos and posts.

You may not, without a separate written licence from us:

• Distribute it to streaming services or stores — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, JioSaavn, Gaana, or any DSP or aggregator.
• Register it with a performing-rights organisation or a Content ID system, or claim it as a copyrighted composition.
• Sell it, licence it, or include it in a product you sell.
• Use it in paid advertising or as commercial background music.

In short: personal and social use is yours; commercial exploitation and distribution are not. This limit exists partly because our music provider's own commercial terms bind us.

You need to understand this before you rely on a song:

• Output is not unique. AI systems can produce results that resemble each other or, unintentionally, resemble existing works. We do not and cannot guarantee originality.
• Copyright in AI-generated material is unsettled in India and elsewhere. We do not promise the song qualifies for copyright protection, or that you own it in the way you would own something you wrote.
• Lyrics may be wrong or odd. The model interprets a photo. It may misread the occasion, the people, or the mood. It is not a statement of fact about anyone in the photo.
• Songs are provided as is. We do not promise any particular quality, style, or resemblance to what you imagined.

Free song credits are earned, not given: verifying your email earns one, and verifying your phone earns a second. Each is offered once per email address and once per phone number, so an account may start with none. Beyond that you may buy credit packs or a subscription.

• All purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. We never see your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your store account settings — not in our app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their policies. We cannot issue store refunds directly.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not redeemable for money.
• If a song fails to generate because of a fault on our side, the credit is returned to you automatically.
• Prices may change; changes never apply to a subscription period you have already paid for.

When you tap Share, your song becomes reachable by anyone with the link. You can unshare or delete it at any time.

If a song, photo, or share page infringes your rights, features you without consent, or is otherwise unlawful, email support@mukhdaa.com with the link and what is wrong. We review takedown requests and remove content that violates these terms or the law. Reports about a person appearing without consent are prioritised.

Do not: automate or script access, resell the service, attempt to extract our prompts or models, probe or attack our infrastructure, or work around credit limits.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Mukhdaa. We will give reasonable notice before shutting the service down, and a way to download your songs where practical.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mukhdaa is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under Indian law that cannot be waived.

You may stop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Mukhdaa after that means you accept the new terms.
